Self-Motivated, Creative, Independent Learners!!

Ms. Sullivan's 4th grade class had the most amazing day in Art! WHOA! I can't even begin to tell you all the amazing things these students created with just paper, glue, tape and some random pieces of fabric. These artists created hats, 3d sculpture, purses, bags, money holders, candy corn mosaics, dancing flowers just to name a few items.

Other students found the the "Image Reference Box" that has photographs of pretty much everything from architecture to insects. Some students chose these pictures to draw from, bears, people, kittens, birds. They used their sketchbooks to create some awesome drawings.

All the students were self-directed, sharing ideas, helping each other, cooperating, coordinating, getting supplies independently and caring for them and placing them back where they belonged. It was a great day to see what the students liked, who was drawing, who was making collage.

Creativity ruled the day!
