I doodle all the time, it helps me focus and my doodle became my signature style. What I just thought as a doodle got me into a show at the Danforth Museum of art. It has totally changed how I work. Doodling is great...it is just another way to communicate your ideas, feelings, emotions. So keep doodling!!

Best Day EVER!

First day at NMES! It was awesome! The students are talented, smart and funny! Who could ask for more??
And some of the most amazing "Welcome Ms. McCarthy" signs I've ever seen! SO COOL!!! I'm going to save them forever!!!
In our classes today in the Art Studio, we created line designs inside shapes. I chose leaves because it is fall. But other students chose shapes that they liked. Beautiful results. The students used pencil, the sharpie marker. When the students are done drawing they will be applying watercolor washes over the drawing. Cannot wait to see the amazing results! Stay tuned for pictures!!
