Nathaniel Morton art students are taught that art is a PROCESS and like all processes, the creation of art takes time. It takes time for students to organize their thoughts, gain proficient control over the medium, and create a complete and successful rendering of their original idea.
In this age of instant gratification and the ability to access information at the touch of a keyboard, the visual arts help students develop their thoughts in an insightful and reflective manner.
The visual arts empower us not only to remain in touch with our humanity, but also to connect with the individuality that is inside us all.
Visual Art allows us to celebrate who each of us is and how we can grow our ideas in creative and meaningful ways.
All of this wonderful process is the learning that takes place in our Visual Arts Program.
