Hurricane Days

In the spirit of inspiration and ideas I couldn't waste my days off of work sitting around. I got right to work.

We've been talking in art class about "Inspiration"..."Ideas"...."Independent Work"...I just had to finish a piece of work of my own. I am hoping that this inspires students and others to use their time wisely to create, work, imagine and to inspire.

Here is the sculpture I just completed on our "Hurricane Day"....Hope you enjoy it.

Mexican Inspired Art

Look at what the artists on NMES have been creating after learning how to draw the human body in proportions and then learning how to use the body, skeleton and skull in a variety of work. In music and art class, the students have been focusing on Mexican works. The students looked at "sugar skulls" to create these awesome pieces....click the link below to see the awesome movie that our computer teacher, Mrs. Winsper made, it's awesome!
